What We Do

Founded in 1997, the House Conservatives Fund (HCF) has been the political arm of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), the largest caucus of conservatives in Congress. For more than two decades, HCF has been pursuing its mission of electing and retaining members who are committed to our core conservative principles. HCF’s current roster of 140 members understands that our mission has never been more urgent than it is today.

HCF aims to defend and advance the foundational ideas of America—the core principles of individual liberty, limited government, the rule of law, fiscal responsibility, free markets, human dignity and maintaining peace through strength. Our brief summary of these ideas is available here.

In his farewell address, President Ronald Reagan declared that he was not a great communicator, but that he simply “communicated great things” gathered from “our experience, our wisdom, and our belief in principles that have guided us for two centuries.” To defend those same great things today requires a generation of leaders who will boldly carry them forward in the face of vehement opposition. The duty of HCF is to help recruit and fund those principled leaders. For the sake of our nation, we are fully committed to retaking the majority in the House. With your help, WE WILL.
